Honeymoon... part 3 (LA)

Night 5 of our honeymoon landed us in the city of angels. For us, there were 4 of them; Sid, Pat, Em, and Finn. We were debating about heading back up the coast and camping in Big Sur, but we decided that we never go to LA... haven't really checked it out... and we were only an hour and some change away. So off we drove through medium traffic into the hazy skies.

That night, Pat and Sid took us out to a nice dinner... forgot the name, but it was delish... and after visiting a local bar, we were pretty tired and made our way back to crash at Pat's.

Pat live in the Silver Lake/Echo View neighborhood, which is surprisingly hilly, and I guess it's an up and coming hipster neighborhood. Pat and Sid have a great house with a nice backyard where we hung out, played with their landlord's dog, and really relaxed. Kimbo and I decided to go on a short hike to get some nice views of LA. Not sure what Kimbo is doing... but that's downtown LA behind her.

After the hike, we had some gelato, and headed over to Em's. Where Toby greeted us with his new punk rawkster hairdoo.

Their house is unbelievable... and among the thousands of beautiful, thought out items around the house, they have a keg-a-rator... someday...

The day after wasn't so exciting, as we had a long drive home... but I-5 was surprisingly fast, and took us like 5 hours. Also, we went straight to a BBQ at Kevin's house, which was fun, but work next day was tough.
